WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YBDG

Bendigo is now a security-controlled airport, with regular QantasLink flights daily, so an ASIC is needed for every aircraft operating into/out of YBDG. Pilots are advised that a hi-vis vest is also required while on the tarmac, and passengers need to be escorted on and off the field by the pilot. Please refer to your EFB/ERSA/NOTAMS for current information, as the field is also a construction site for our new Terminal building! Landing fee will be $22:40, with parking free for 3 days.

Important Health Concerns

We would like to avoid a repetition of the cases of CoVid which occurred earlier this year at both the Deniliquin PPP and the Bundaberg meetings. Covid and influenza are continuing risks to both us and to the communities that we visit.

Your committee has therefore decided to request the following actions from those planning to attend.

  1. If you or any of your group have any cold/flu-like symptoms in the days prior to the fly-in, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND.
  2. Please do a RAT on the day prior to, and on the morning of departure. Only those with negative tests should attend.
  3. Should any of your group develop symptoms at any time during the event, please isolate them and your group from the remaining parties and notify the organisers ASAP. We will endeavour to provide prompt advice and arrange for access to local care if needed.
